The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery is stationed in St John’s Wood, London. Its duties include the firing of Royal Salutes on Royal Anniversaries and State Occasions and providing a Gun carriage and a team of black horses for State and Military Funerals. It also participates in the Remembrance Day Parade, the Lord Mayor’s Show and The Queen’s Birthday Parade. In addition, The Troop performs the duties of Queen’s Life Guard at Horse Guards for three weeks each year.
This summer, The King’s Troop is conducting a Recruiting Tour at shows throughout the country. This comprises a spectacular Gun Team display, in addition to an exciting Mounted Military Skill at Arms demonstration.
